Lightroom 3

Well here goes I just downloaded a trail version of Lightroom 3. Looks interesting and wondering if anyone else out here in IFPA land uses this program and your thoughts on it. I have been viewing some the tuits on the Tube and have a general idea on the basic functions. Its a little pricey for me at 300 bucks. I do use photoshop elements but not the full blown version. I would enjoy hearing from you.

HDSLR

I am wondering if anyone is using a DSLR that also records High Definition Video. Its not the coming thing its already here. What is your take on this new equipment. Not really that pricey if you compare to stand alone DSLR's. Is this format useful HD Video useful on the Fire Ground? Pros or Cons. Your comments are welcome. I am interested in getting a DSLR Body that shots HD Video.

Thomas--

You're probably aware of that changes are taking place within the IFPA, and not just on the website.  My name is Ron Gaskins, from Evans, WV.  I've been appointed as the new Director of the IFPA Southeast Region.  Currently, that includes Pennsylvania.

We are working to make significant improvements in the IFPA, and to make your Membership more attractive.  We are also interested in attracting new Members.  If you have any ideas about how we can do any of these, please contact me.

Thanks, Ron Gaskins
